| Tangdu Hospital, formerly known as the Yanan Central Hospital, was founded in 1939. In 1955, it was transferred to the teaching hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University. In 1958, it was approved by the General Counselor as the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University. In 1985, it was approved by the General Counselor as the Tangdu Hospital. In 2017, it was transferred to the Air Force and renamed the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University. As a modern three grade a hospital.
